No, that does'nt mean he's a vampire. The need for blood is the defining symptom for vampirism. It takes much time with yourself and alot of doctors visits to come to the conclusion that you may be a vampire.
Sensitivity to sunlight is a very common symptom for vampires, yes..but just that alone does'nt mean much.
Due to ongoing research into our condition, it is believed by myself, and many others agree that the energy molecule ATP probably does'nt play a role in our condition. The details are pretty boring stuff, so I won't go into it..lol. However, we still believe that non-vampiric blood provides sanguinarians with some sort of compound which a vampires body does not produce. Always remember, what I say here is just one persons opinion about vampirism, even though there are many who also follow the scientific logic. I encourage you to research, and come to your own conclusion because all of the answers are out of our reach...for now.

Okay. I have never thought of myself as a vampire, but what you said has made me wonder. For the past two years I have been struggling with a mysterious illness that causes me to pass out for random periods of time. I am still concious, but unable to move. They can last anywhere from a few seconds to two hours! I have been from doctor to doctor, and no one seems to know what it is. I also have a very hard time sleeping at night. I stay up all night usually, and sleep all day. Not on purpose, it just happens. All day I feel fatigued and tired. I am very pale and am a natural blonde, blue eyed girl (although i recently died my hair a light brown color.) My skin is very sensitive to the sun and heat. I was out in the sun down in florida for 30 minutes, and i got sun poisoning. Fever, burn, blisters, vomiting, the whole deal. Just for 30 minutes! Now, I always wear sunscreen with an spf of AT LEAST 45. I even had blisters on the inside of my mouth. I have had sun poisoning at least 4-5 times in my life, and I sunburn EXTREMELY easily. Even if I'm just out in the heat, I turn red and I can't breathe very easily. My parents actually think I'm allergic to the sun. I also have several mental illnesses including BPD, PD, OCD, and I cut. I have never had "blood lust," but after you mentioning the syptoms, could this mean something? I never believed in vampires, i just always loved anne rice and the stories. Please tell me what you think...

I am not one of you but know of you I know all the truths of your kind and do love the TRUE V's but as for the majority of the is site you silly little teen's have driven your brains to believe this b/c you know you are different and can be happy knowing that it is a special different but just because you may have symptoms it does not mean you are true V's!!!Many people have these traits and then think they are and Psychologically believe they need blood and drive themselves to desire it and believe that they MUST have it. Please I implore all of you to take a look in the mirror and see your falsities.

..um wow. Kid, first of all grammar would be nice, and unless you are in kindergarten you should know how to spell words like 'someone' and 'write'. Secondly, Vampires do not eat hearts! Vampires are blood monsters key word there blood, they don't gorge on pig hearts, because firstly pig? ha! If they were to eat a heart it would be human. If you're friend were a vampire, or is, I pray they get you. Either that or you get common sense, which ever happens first.
