No, that does'nt mean he's a vampire. The need for blood is the defining symptom for vampirism. It takes much time with yourself and alot of doctors visits to come to the conclusion that you may be a vampire.
Sensitivity to sunlight is a very common symptom for vampires, yes..but just that alone does'nt mean much.
Due to ongoing research into our condition, it is believed by myself, and many others agree that the energy molecule ATP probably does'nt play a role in our condition. The details are pretty boring stuff, so I won't go into it..lol. However, we still believe that non-vampiric blood provides sanguinarians with some sort of compound which a vampires body does not produce. Always remember, what I say here is just one persons opinion about vampirism, even though there are many who also follow the scientific logic. I encourage you to research, and come to your own conclusion because all of the answers are out of our reach...for now.

I will now present the facts to all of you. You can read, and you can make up your own mind. Just know that I will not argue with anyone, because I know what we are, and I know what I deal with everyday of my life. Real vampires are those individuals who have a certain genetic defect which causes the body to not produce sufficient energy levels. Why this happens is not currently known. There is no medically described condition, there is no protocol for diagnosing it. To gain this energy, we must take it in other forms. Sanguinarian vamps take it in the form of blood...Psi (psychic) vamps take it in the form of pranic energy, which our bodies give off, and can be found in most elements on earth. Some of us are both, and we call them hybrids. When our bodies get low on energy, we suffer from as wide variety of symptoms, which I will get into another time. The energy molecule that is lacking is ATP, the most important in your body. it controls every function, from breathing, to seeing, to taking a sh#t. thisis why we experience the symptoms..such as sensitivity to sunlight, and fatigue. Most of us experince heightened senses, such as taste, touch, and night vision. We are NOT immortal, we CAN catch any disease. This is why us sang vamps have such a hard time. We dont turn into bats, we dont have fangs..unless their the fake ones you get at the mall or something..and we are'nt repelled by garlic, I happen to love garlic. All of the hollywood myths are just that, myths. this is reality. I do not tolerate people claiming to be immortal, these types of people hurt the real vampiric community. We are striving to be accepted and taken seriously. As far as we know, no one can be turned into a vampire. You have to be born this way, and the condition usualy does'nt show up until the early teen years..but there are exceptions. I awakened at 21. There are many things I left out, this is just an introduction. If any of you have questions, just contact me...serious questions only! I was going ot leave this board, but I decided to stay after talking with a good friend from this board. Im here to help, and educate. Thanks for reading. -Mike

How'bout this? -Worrying about finding a safe, clean donor -Never knowing if you're going to get a feed -Sufferig from the symptoms -Not being accepted by the majority of the world -being looked at as a joke, or a psycho -wanting so badly to tell the people you love, but knowing its probably useless.
and the list goes on... -Mike

Of course its true!!! (shakes head in worry)..do you think you cant catch any blood-borne virus? More importantly, no matter what you think you are, you can and will become afflicted with something if you just go around drinking human blood from anyone you please. I was just informed a few weeks ago that a Vampire friend of mine, who has been drinking blood for 30 years, has contracted HIV...this is all to real. --Mike

Being a blood fetishist, its common to form this kind of feeling and attachment to blood. Fetishism can work in many ways, including psychological dependance. The mind works in mysterious ways, and you may be experiencing these feeling as your mind triggers your desires. Now, what you really want to hear...going through the vampiric process is a complicated and sometimes painful experience. The need is what separates sanguinarianism from everything else. If you want to learn more, I suggest you contact me privately. I will define sanguinarianism soon in the proper forum. -Mike

Hello everybody (if there is anyone yet). My name is Mike, I am a 25 year old sanguinarian. What that means is basically..I am a real vampire. I require blood in order for my body to produce stable amounts of energy. Our condition has not been scientifically described, but private individuals like myself are continuiung to study the condition. I dont have fangs, I dont die in sunlight, I dont turn into a bat, and most importantly..I will die someday. My goal in being here is to support others like myself, including Psi vamps. It would be nice if a real Psi vamp would join and help me with that part, as I am sang only. I hope to speak with all of you soon. -Mike
